Signing a tenancy contract and registering it are two things

A tenancy contract in Dubai is registered through Ejari, which is a Dubai Land Department service. Registration is what lets you open a DEWA account, sponsor a residence visa and take a dispute to the rent committee.

A tenancy contract is the agreement between a landlord and a tenant. Registration is a separate step. Having one does not give you the other.

We do not list what you need

What is required, what it costs, and who can submit it change over time, and they are Dubai Land Department’s to state. A copy here would eventually be wrong, and someone would act on it. The service below lists the current requirements.
