A tenancy contract in Abu Dhabi is registered in Tawtheeq rather than Ejari, through the TAMM portal. The landlord registers it, and the registered contract is what utilities and visa applications are checked against.

A tenancy contract is the agreement between a landlord and a tenant. Registration is a separate step. Having one does not give you the other.
